Ohhhhh GOLLY! I know we’ve had an exchange about coffee and maybe my 65 year old version of memory is worse off than I realized, but I’m only enjoying this more! And I have a gift bag of Turkish coffee on my shelf I was shy of tackling! I also have a son who recently had Turkish coffee and extolled it, so....I’m going to get to it tomorrow. I’m in for ritualizing this and the mention of cardamom made me swoon. Thank you for this gem!
It's amazing how our coffee preferences can evolve over time, influenced by experiences, travels, and the people around us. From the Italian magic of a well-poured cup to the aromatic brew from the French press. From the Americano to Turkish coffee. Your words made me reflect on my own coffee journey, and it's clear that, regardless of the method, the journey to that perfect cup is indeed timeless.
I hope you and your loved ones had a lovely Thanksgiving. This is a delightful essay, Kate!
Thank you so much, Nadia! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.
And to you and your loved ones, Kate!
Thank you so much for the nod! 🤩
